Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the One Off Design Lab website and your interactions with us for quotes, design work, fabrication, custom products, and related services. By using the website, requesting a quote, approving a proof, placing an order, or otherwise working with us, you agree to these terms.

If a written quote, invoice, estimate, project agreement, proof approval, or payment page includes additional terms, those project-specific terms also apply to that order.

One Off Design Lab provides custom design, fabrication, engraving, printing, apparel, signage, display, and related creative services. Because much of our work is custom, details such as materials, dimensions, finish, color, quantity, artwork preparation, production time, and pricing may vary by project.

A project is not considered accepted or scheduled for production until scope, pricing, payment requirements, and any needed artwork or proof approvals have been confirmed.

Quotes and estimates are based on the information available at the time they are prepared. Pricing may change if the project scope changes, artwork requires additional preparation, materials change, quantities change, rush timing is requested, or additional services are needed.

Unless otherwise stated, quotes are valid only for the period listed on the quote. If no period is listed, quotes may be updated based on material availability, supplier pricing, production schedule, or other business factors.

You are responsible for ensuring that any logos, artwork, photos, text, product names, trademarks, copyrighted materials, or other content you provide may legally be used for your requested project. You represent that you have the rights, licenses, permissions, or authority needed for us to use those materials to complete the project.

We may refuse projects that appear to involve unauthorized intellectual property, illegal content, hateful content, explicit content, unsafe instructions, misleading claims, or content that we determine is inappropriate for our business.

For custom projects, we may provide digital proofs, mockups, samples, or written confirmations. You are responsible for carefully reviewing spelling, layout, sizing, colors, placement, materials, quantities, and all project details before approval.

Once a proof or project detail is approved, changes may not be possible or may require additional cost and production time. Approved custom work may proceed to production based on the approved proof or confirmation.

Custom fabrication can involve natural and technical variations. Colors may appear differently between screens, proofs, materials, lighting, printers, engraving processes, fabric types, coatings, finishes, and production methods.

Materials such as wood, slate, leatherette, acrylic, apparel, printed films, metals, and 3D printed parts may have normal variations in texture, tone, grain, edge finish, engraving contrast, or surface behavior. These variations are part of custom production and are not always defects.

Payment terms may vary by project. We may require a deposit, partial payment, or full payment before design work, material ordering, or production begins. Orders may be paused until required payments are received.

Late, failed, reversed, or disputed payments may delay production, pickup, delivery, future orders, or release of completed work.

Because custom work is made specifically for each customer, cancellations, changes, refunds, or returns may be limited once design, material ordering, setup, or production has started.

If a project is canceled after work has begun, the customer may be responsible for design time, setup time, materials, supplier costs, partially completed work, completed work, and other costs already incurred.

Any production or delivery timelines are estimates unless specifically stated in writing as guaranteed. Timelines may be affected by artwork readiness, proof approvals, material availability, equipment maintenance, supplier delays, order volume, weather, shipping carriers, or other factors outside our control.

Pickup, delivery, or shipping options may vary by project and location. Risk of loss may transfer once an order is picked up, delivered, or provided to a shipping carrier, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery or shipping information and for inspecting orders promptly upon receipt.

Unless you request otherwise in writing before production, we may photograph or display completed work in our portfolio, website, social media, samples, marketing materials, or sales presentations. We will use reasonable judgment when displaying customer work and will not intentionally disclose confidential project details.

If a project is confidential, private, unreleased, or involves sensitive information, please tell us in writing before work begins.

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or copy content for improper purposes, submit malicious code, or use the website in a way that violates law or harms One Off Design Lab or others.

We aim to create high-quality custom work, but we do not guarantee specific business outcomes, sales results, customer response, regulatory approval, marketing performance, or revenue results from any product, sign, display, apparel, or branded item.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, One Off Design Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business, lost data, or reputational harm related to the website, services, products, delays, errors, or project outcomes.

Our total liability for a specific project is limited to the amount paid to One Off Design Lab for that project, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website or continued work with us after updates means the updated terms apply going forward.
